However, physical punishment is unacceptable, and my aim is to eliminate physical punishment from all sports. However, if a person who had been shaped by engaging in sports activities becomes a coach, there is a high likelihood that this coach will resort to physical punishment and pass this behavior on. In addition, there is pressure to hire outside coaches and technical guidance is expected from the outside coaches. Yet, at the same time, student discipline is not being handled appropriately by regular teachers, and the outside coaches resort to physical punishment. Under these circumstances, it is important to pay attention to the processes that form the areas of responsibility of both educational staff and outside coaches.
