This is a summary of the survey results and discussions at the symposium of the 83rd Annual Convention of the JPA. Students were more likely to have a positive attitude towards the gender role division with their parents as models. Many faculty teachers recognized that it is necessary for their students to get contacts with familiar role models and show the current state of work with university qualifications, which would make students to be aware of gender issues, to recognize the need for financial independence, and to draw concrete future self-images.
