| 値 | この論文では，「量関係節」「潜伏疑問」そしてある種の分裂構文が「変項名詞句」のヴァリエーションであり，いずれも西垣内(2016b) で「中核名詞句」と呼んだものから派生するものであることを示す。「量関係節」は「量」を表す名詞を主要部とし，その指定部に量をはかる対象となる名詞句が関係節のかたちであらわれ，その内項としてその量の「値」が現れるものである。これまで「疑似分裂文」と呼ばれてきたものの中には「連結性」を示すものがあり，それらはidentity を表すID という発音されない名詞をその主要部とする「中核名詞句」から派生する。 | |||||||

| 値 | The present article discusses the syntactic properties of what has been called the ‘Variable Noun Phrase’. In the present analysis, the amount relative clause and the concealed question are both variants of the ‘Variable Noun Phrase’, which syntactically derives from the Core Noun Phrase in the sense of Nishigauchi (2016), and should be more appropriately called the ‘Variable-containing Noun Phrase’. Some variants of what has been considered to be ‘pseudo-clefts’ in Japanese syntax are shown to exhibit connectivity, and are derived from the Core Noun Phrase with ID (suggesting ‘identity’) as its head. | |||||||
